Jedi Obi-wan and Sith Obi-wan both attempting to tempt Anakin.

So, I really struggle with Obi Wan ever going dark, therefore wrote it as a dream, hope it fulfills the criteria.

Anakin moaned in his sleep, head turning from side to side. He could see his mother, screaming in pain, face bruised and bloodied. He tried to scream, to reach her, but he was frozen, could make no sound or movement. The vision changed and now Obi Wan came into view, but not Obi Wan as Anakin knew him.

'You will join me, Anakin,' Obi Wan told him, eyes gold and red, burning into Anakin's skin. 'I will give you everything you've ever wanted, we can save your mother and be together, as we should be, as the Force wants us to be.'

The red eyes were closing as Obi Wan took Anakin in his arms, kissing him, pressing against him. But it was not how Obi Wan was meant to be. This kiss tasted sour, the grip on his arms hurt him, Obi Wan exuding bitterness and wrath, want and greed. Anakin felt the bile rise in his throat.

'Wake up,' Anakin heard Obi Wan say. He sounded scared, his shoulders were being shaken, but the touch was gentle. Obi Wan's touch was always gentle. 'Anakin! Wake up, you're just dreaming.'

'You're a Sith,' Anakin muttered. 'You fell, you wanted me to kiss you, but it hurt, Obi, it hurt.'

'I'm not a Sith, I'm a Jedi, as are you, my dear one. Come.' Obi Wan scooped Anakin up in his arms and placed a soft kiss on his forehead. 'That's it,' Obi Wan soothed, Anakin felt a calming wave through their bond, Obi Wan was bathed in the light as he always was, so bright with the light side of the Force, which he wrapped around Anakin, drawing him away from his dark dreams, his fears and nightmares.

'Sorry,' Anakin said, full of shame at his outburst.

'Come on, let's meditate together.' Anakin nodded in response and felt the warm embrace of Obi Wan's Force signature. When Obi Wan said medidate together, he did not mean sitting side by side, he meant journeying into the Force together, drawing Anakin into the brilliance of the lightside, cocooning him in its warmth, in Obi Wan's warmth. It was a more tempting than the dark figure that haunted his dreams could ever be.

Sooo this morning, my mom mentioned how it's getting closer to Christmas, and that the devil steps up his temptation game during that time because he is against people spreading the gospel. And apparently he hates Christmas especially much. I asked her about it again and she just said "you don't experience this, because you're not a Christian."

So I did the only logical thing, I asked Lucifer. Here's what he told me (with permission to share):

"People's experiences are a reflection of themselves and their beliefs. It could be a self fulfilling prophecy of course, but during the dark times, the veil is thinner. Negative energy attracts negative spirits, so if there's a manipulative force in someone's life, it will be especially strong during the winter months, when Christmas happens to be.

"During summer, you simply feel more connected and positive, because you have the sun and share more time with other people. So the "temptation" of any negative force won't be as bad. Wether it's the own emotions weighing someone down, or a benevolent entity.

"If someone believes there to be an evil adversary who makes life hard for them, it's easy for negative spirits to get a hold of them. That's why religious people are always the first to be scared of a curse. They believe in it's power the most."

Me: "Are you saying that people who believe in the devil as the personified source of all evil, who has access to people, are all being haunted by negative spirits?"

"Not all of them, but quite a handful, yes. It's because they allow them in. The fear makes them more receptive to these energies. Fear is quite a negative emotion. What doesn't scare you can't harm you. But people who are scared of the devil quite literally attract their own 'devil'.

"Whenever something goes wrong, they'll say 'ah, the devil is attacking me!' The spirits will hear this and know, there is a person receptive to tricks and games by the supernatural. They see demons everywhere, so 'demons' will feel comfortable around them.

"They [the negative spirits] want that attention. They can't actually do these grand schemes that people blame them for, but they love to get credited for it. And because people who are scared of dark forces are rarely the ones who know how to banish them, these entities make themselves a home with that person.

"And when the veil is thin, they'll play their games. And as long as they're being acknowledged by that person, they'll stick around."

So, this not only means that protection is important, especially during these dark times, but also to not be scared of the "dark forces". The more power we give to them, the more power they hold over us. (This does not apply to literal depression or anything of the kind btw)

Stay safe out there, practice protection magic and don't forget to cleanse your space every now and then :)

You are only somewhat dizzy from hunger, and from the dim lighting and constantly flickering candles. But you have since stopped asking Hoseok to just turn on a lamp; he seems to think that if he prays surrounded by candles and burnt offerings of incense and twigs, those prayers for your recovery may be answered.

i feel like i have been saying this for over a year at this point, but i really want to write a pistilverse fic!!! i have something very dramatic in mind that involves pistilverse & hanahaki disease but i have just not found the time or energy to explore it, yet. it's on a list of ideas for future wips. for now.
